ILA Hub (ilahub.com) provides independent legal advice services. This policy explains how we collect and use personal information when you use our website and services. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@ilahub.com.

2. Information we collect

• Booking details: your name, email, phone number and appointment information.
• Transaction details: the lender, solicitor and broker involved in your matter, and the document you need advice on.
• Identity verification data: images of your photo ID and a selfie, processed by our secure verification provider.
• Payment information: processed by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card details.
• Usage data: pages visited and referral source, collected to understand how the site is used.

3. How we use your information

• To provide the service you booked, including preparing your certificate.
• To verify your identity, as required for the advice to be relied on.
• To send your certificate to you and, where you ask us to, to your solicitor, broker or lender.
• To respond to enquiries and manage bookings, payments and refunds.
• To keep records we are legally required to retain.

4. Sharing

We share information only with: our secure service providers (video calling, payments, identity verification, document storage and email); the parties you ask us to send your certificate to; and authorities where the law requires it. We never sell your data.

5. Retention

Records of advice given, certificates issued and identity verification are retained for at least six years, in line with professional record-keeping expectations for advice that may be relied on in future disputes. Enquiry messages that don't lead to a booking are kept for up to two years.

6. Your rights

You have rights under UK data protection law to access, correct, delete and restrict the use of your personal data, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any of these rights, email info@ilahub.com.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use a single first-party identifier stored in your browser to count unique visitors and understand which pages are used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
